The team at Woodstone Renovations Ltd are keen to help the community where we can. We strive to find organisations or individuals who's life can be enriched by our support. We are lucky that one of our team will facilitate the contact with services they would like to offer support too and we have a pro active approach to this. Heres some of our previous stories .....
The Island Mentoring Charity have now launched their Business Hub and it is with great pleasure that we will be part of it. In 2019 our company manger Mark supported an individual girl who has in the passed had struggles with diabetes. He was able to support with funding for the first year of a Dexacom device that will help her manage her blood sugar and alert her if she is low. This really is a magnificent device, life changing and we know it has gone a long way to making her day to day functions much more manageable. For the season 2018 -2019 we were able to support a local York under 8s football team - 'Poppelton Juniors' to purchase their training jackets. Looking fab I would say!! Lets hope they have a great season!! Good Luck Boys ...
Seeing the work of such an invested organisation who support vulnerable young people in York to achieve their goals and make positive steps to their future, it was a great pleasure too make a donation for their York 10k Run 2015. As a charity they need the investment of their community to contuse their amazing work, luckily for us we were able to follow on with the company being part of the Micklegate Soap Box Challenge in 2018.
